Random Email Generator — Fake Email Addresses for Development and Testing
Generate realistic-looking random email addresses for testing forms, populating dev databases, creating UI mockups, or seeding test data. Choose between four naming styles (real-sounding first.last, initial-style, fun word combinations, or fully random strings), three separators, and three domain pools. Generate up to 500 unique emails at once. Everything runs in your browser — no API calls, no signups.
Naming styles
- firstname.lastname: picked from a list of common first and last names. Examples:
emma.smith@gmail.com,liam.johnson@yahoo.com - f.lastname: first initial + last name. Examples:
e.smith@gmail.com,j.johnson@yahoo.com - fun words: pairs of evocative words. Examples:
cosmic.pixel@gmail.com,silver.thunder@yahoo.com - random: 8-12 random lowercase letters. Examples:
xfqplmnzks@gmail.com
Separators
Choose dot (.), underscore (_), dash (-), or none. Some real email providers only accept certain separators in the local part, so pick what matches your test target.
Domain pools
- Common providers: gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com, outlook.com, icloud.com, protonmail.com, and 6 others. These look like real personal emails.
- Test domains: example.com, example.org, test.com, etc. Use these when you want to make it obvious the email is fake.
- Custom domain: type your own (e.g.
mycompany.com). Useful for testing email validation in your app with branded addresses.
Append digits
Toggle “Append random digits” to add 2-4 digit suffixes (jane.doe847@gmail.com). This makes emails more realistic for collision-prone scenarios.
⚠️ Important: privacy and ethics
These addresses are randomly assembled from common name and word pools. Some generated addresses may, by coincidence, match real existing emails. Use the output only for:
- Filling test forms locally
- Generating seed data for staging databases
- UI/UX mockups where you need realistic-looking strings
- Stress testing email validation logic
Do NOT use these for sending email, signing up to real services, or anywhere a real person might receive it. If you need guaranteed-fake addresses for tests, the “Test domains” mode is safer.
Privacy
Generation happens entirely in your browser. No emails are stored, transmitted, or logged.
