Slugify URL Multi-language — Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic to ASCII Slug
Convert text from any script to a clean URL slug. Built-in transliteration for Cyrillic (Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian), Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, plus all Latin accents.
Slugify URL Multi-language — Turn Any Script Into a Clean ASCII Slug
Convert text from any writing system into a URL-safe ASCII slug. Where the basic slug tool only normalizes Latin accents, this one ships with built-in transliteration tables for Cyrillic (Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian), Greek, Turkish, Arabic and Hebrew. Type “Привет мир” and get “privet-mir”. Type “Καλημέρα κόσμε” and get “kalimera-kosme”. Everything runs in your browser — no upload, no third-party API calls.
Supported scripts
- Latin with diacritics: French (é, è, à, ç…), German (ä, ö, ü, ß), Spanish (ñ, á, é, í, ó, ú), Polish (ą, ć, ę, ł, ń, ś, ź, ż), Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Portuguese, Italian, Scandinavian languages (æ, ø, å)
- Cyrillic: Russian, Ukrainian (including і, ї, є, ґ), Bulgarian, Serbian — full alphabet mapped to standard romanization
- Greek: modern Greek alphabet including tonos accents (ά, έ, ή, ί, ό, ύ, ώ)
- Turkish: ı / İ / ş / Ş / ğ / Ğ handled correctly
- Arabic: basic 28-letter alphabet with simplified transliteration
- Hebrew: 22 letters + final forms (ך, ם, ן, ף, ץ)
Script detection
The tool also tells you which script it detected in your input — useful when copy-pasting from various sources, or to confirm the right transliteration map is being applied.

- ä/ö/ü → ae/oe/ue (German convention for URLs)
- æ/œ → ae/oe
